Job Description

  • Collaborate with international and regional organizations representing Pakistan / IT Department at international and regional events.
  • Protect training opportunities from national/international agencies and liaise effectively with various stakeholders in the country.
  • Define relationship opportunities and ensure that relationships are fully realized.
  • Maintain a database of post-visit visit reports, which are sent by the nominee after participating in the event and tracking actions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Unit and relevant MoIT components to allocate the ITU’s foreign exchange budget for each financial year.
  • Tracking the status of payments of Pakistan’s annual obligatory contributions to international/regional organizations and tracking to accelerate payments if necessary.
  • Seeking the necessary ideas from relevant, external and internal stakeholders, preparing for the country’s participation and representation of Pakistan in ITU forums.
  • Organize and liaise with relevant stakeholders to host ICT events in Pakistan.
  • In collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), maintain and update National ICT Indicators / Statistics based on ITU Guidelines and act as data sources for the ICT Sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • PhD or Masters Degree From HEC Recognized University

Experience

  • Candidates with PhD are required to have ten (06) years of experience in the relevant field
  • Candidates with Masters Degree are required to have fourteen (10) years experience in the relevant field
  • The Candidates should have Experience of liaison with International and regional organizations in the field of ICTs

Skills & Expertise

  • Effective communication skills are required to interact with senior government officials and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Proven event management experience to design and conduct high-level events

Age Limit

  • Maximum 62 Years of Age
