  1. Selected candidates will be governed by the Quaid-i-Azam University Service Statutes and rules/regulations amended from time to time.
  2. Applications – incomplete in any aspect or received after the due date will not be entertained by any means.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  4. Only eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
  5. Applications are treated as confidential documents and will be shredded off in due course of time after making appointments.
  6. All teaching posts are to be filled purely on open merit basis.
  7. The decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.

How To Apply

  1. Applicants for all positions are required to submit one complete application/ dossier on prescribed proforma (available at University website) including all documents / attested degree/experience certificates / CNIC / domicile etc in binding form. Applicants for the positions of Professors and Associate Professors are required to submit a soft copy of the application/dossier in PDF format (CD/DVD) as well. Applications should reach the office of the Assistant Registrar (Establishment) QAU, Islamabad within 30 days of the date of Advertisement ( i.e. on or before 14-04-2022) along with Bank Draft (any bank) or (Paid Challan only from HBL Quaid-i-Azam University branch) for Rs.2000/- (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
  2. Applications for teaching posts from abroad may be sent along with the US $ 100 (in the shape of bank draft – drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University) as application processing fee within 30 days of the date of this Advertisement (i.e. on or before 14-04-2022)
  3. Internal / Existing candidates of QAU may apply on BPS against these advertised posts. External Candidates may apply on BPS for Social Sciences in Associate Professor and Professor categories only; preference will be given to TTS candidates.
  4. Candidates applying for teaching positions under both systems (TTS/BPS) should submit separate applications/dossiers (with complete documents) along with separate bank drafts etc., for each application.
  5. Separate application forms for Teaching Positions TTS & BPS are available at the University website www.qau.edu.pk
  6. Applicants already working in Government / Semi-Government Organizations/ Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by the due date along with service certificates issued by their present and former employers duly attested; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies, if clearly mentioned.
