Description Senior Executive Accounting and Reporting Islamabad 2021 Jobs
Applications are invited in Telenor Pakistan and looking for candidates for the positions of Senior Executive Accounting and Reporting Islamabad 2021 Jobs. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for Telenor Pakistan & its subsidiaries in accordance with applicable standards, policies and processes. In addition to this, the incumbent will have the opportunity to contribute to projects/initiatives for simplification and modernization of financial processes, systems/tools to bring greater efficiency along with implementing sufficient controls to ensure authenticity/quality of financial statements.
Goals & Objectives
- Call the Company’s end-of-month financial closing process to ensure timely completion and accurate and complete results
- Ensure that all transaction accounting is processed accurately and on time
- Ensure Compliance with Group / Local Policies and IFRS
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial advice and accounting for complex accounting matters and new business streams in accordance with IFRS and Group policies
- Review and improve current procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting
- Manage the coordination of external/internal auditors
- Prepare reports and presentations on financial results
- Adjustment of monthly and consolidated management accounts
- Monthly updates of all balance sheets account for any conflicts involving problem identification and tracking with the appropriate teams to close on time.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
ACCA, or C.A finalist or Masters/Bachelor in Finance
Certification(s): Finance or Accounting
Experience
- 4+ years of relevant work experience along with expertise in ERP Financials will be preferred.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong analytical skills (Ability to interpret and analyze financial data)
- Ability to manage large volume and complex data
- Ability to influence the company at higher levels/gain acquisition by senior management
- Ability to learn and apply new ideas
- Ability to lead development projects
- Ability to manage participants’ expectations
- It must be able to handle the hard work successfully and effectively
- Independent and Self-driving
- Strong Spokesman and Presenter
- Strong Adherence to Telenor’s Vision and Principles and the promotion of high moral standards

- Ability to monitor and improve team performance.
- Strong understanding of Telecom’s major business processes and systems that contribute to accounting and reporting
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards e.g. IFRS etc.
- Information on advanced accounting and financial reporting procedures
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Office applications, especially MS excel & PowerPoint.
