About Jobs
AM CAPEX Control will work closely with technology, commercial and other divisions as well as within BPA to ensure effective delivery around CAPEX. The position will also require insightful and dynamic analysis in order to support business decision making. The position is located in Islamabad and reports to Business Manager Technology in Business Planning and Analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Detailed analysis surrounding Capex, CoGs and OPEX technology division
- Review the CAPEX Forecast posted by the various Departments of Technology. Through the review process contact the relevant teams to ensure that the Prediction is finalized and submitted to management for approval.
- Review the CAPEX monthly report to ensure accurate and cost-effective comparisons with forecasts
- Adjustment of monthly reports
- It involves regular communication with stakeholders in technical teams, Accounts and Strategies in the long run
- Preparation and evaluation of IC cases to determine whether a project is feasible and in line with the company’s strategic objectives
- Post-test evaluation of IC cases and offers to determine the extent to which the objectives were achieved and the recommendations for future delivery guidelines
- Ad hoc analysis projects include closing gap periods to achieve the company’s overall targets for the year.
- Analyze large data sets accurately and provide logical information to senior management
- Develop an understanding of driving a significant number of key KPIs in the telecommunications sector, as well as an understanding of macro & micro-economic indicators and their impact on Telenor Pakistan.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions with strong timing. Flexibility to adapt to changing last-minute situations, which includes performing ad-hoc / analysis tasks
- Preparing, optimizing and optimizing financial models to support forecasting/reporting to reduce downtime
- Develop a forecasting website that incorporates the trends seen in the actual daily and monthly reports
- Effective support in conducting ad-hoc analysis as required by management to support decision-making and highlight key revenue drivers.
- An analysis of changing trends, trends and developments and the obligation to provide decision support to management
- Communication with accounts and technical teams on monthly financial closures
- Provide support to other departments/departments (strategies, reporting, efficiency, etc.) as part of various project teams (including Group initiated projects)
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- MBA/ICMA/CA/ACCA other relevant financial/business qualification
Experience
- Around 5-7 years’ relevant experience.
- Prior experience in business planning will be a plus

- Strong interpersonal skills, presentation and team-building skills
- They should be able to work individually and in a team
- Ability to create/edit and evaluate detailed financial models
- The ability to stay calm under pressure, and always look at the big picture
- Excellent analytical skills include the ability to analyze diversity and to evaluate business cases
- Strong understanding of revenue and costs affecting the telecommunications industry
- Excellent writing skills and presentations and experience in money analysis
