Intro Virtual University

Virtual University, Pakistan’s first university-based entirely on modern information and communication technologies, was established by the government as a public sector, with a clear mission: Providing affordable world-class education in the country to aspiring students.

The university is known for broadcasting its online lectures and rigorous programs regardless of the physical location of its students. It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan).

The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Due to its reliance on the Internet for lecturing, Pakistani students living abroad are also enrolling in university programs.

Since its inception in 2002, VU has expanded operations with more than 190 related institutions across the country to provide infrastructure support to students.

There are two types of virtual university campuses. First of all, it has its own campuses called its offices. Its head office is located in Lahore. The other is called Private Virtual Campus (PVC) run by private organizations which are also known as affiliated campuses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D., MS, M.Phil, or Master’s Degree in the same discipline.
• Interested candidates must have excellent command over spoken and written English.
• The applicants must have IT expertise.
